Syllabus - IBPS PO

IBPS is a government recruitment agency which works to place job seekers in the reputable positions in the banking sectors. IBPS PO Exam Syllabus is set by the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection. As we all know there are two exams to clear IBPS Probationary Officer (PO) i.e. Prelims and Mains Exam. So here we sharing syllabus for both the exam. Also, we provide the IBPS PO Exam Pattern to understand the subject topic, time duration, total no of the question in examination and weightage of the specific subject. 

IBPS Prelims will have objective nature questions which are of 100 marks. The total time for the exam will be 1 hour, candidates have to solve 100 questions during exam time. Prelims will include total 3 subjects namely quantitative aptitude, English, Reasoning and the Main Exam of IBPS PO will include total weightage of the exam will be 200 marks and total 200 questions will be asked in the paper plus there is additional of the English (Letter writing and Essay). The time duration of the exam will be 3 hours. Mains exam is based on subjects namely computer aptitude, English, Reasoning, computer & General Awareness and Data Analysis and Interpretation.

As told above that the IBPS PO Exam consists of two papers. The detailed of each paper pattern i.e. Prelims and Mains are mentioned below. Candidates can check this and prepare according to the weight for the examination.
