SSC MTS

SSC MTS Exam is conducted by the Staff Selection Commission every year to recruit the Multi Tasking Staff such as Peon, Daftary, Jamadar, Junior Gestetner Operator, Chowkidar, Safaiwala, Mali etc.

SSC conducts MTS exam in three stages

1. Paper I
2. Descriptive Test 
3. Skill Test.

Paper I is an online exam which consists of 100 objective multiple-choice questions. Paper I consists of four sections

1. Reasoning(25 questions of 25 marks)
2. English Language(25 questions of 25 marks)
3. Numerical Aptitude(25 questions of 25 marks)
4. General Awareness(25 questions of 25 marks)

The total marks of Paper I is 100 and the exam duration is 90 minutes. For the wrong answer, there will a penalty of 0.25 marks.

Paper-II is pen and paper mode descriptive paper in English or another language which listed in government policies.

In Paper II there will Short Essay/ Letter writing in 8th schedule of the constitution. Paper-II will only be of qualifying in nature. Paper-II will have 50 marks and the duration is 30 minutes. Minimum education qualification required for SSC MTS is a metric pass.

Previous year cut off for General category candidates is 110.50, OBC 101.00, SC 100.50, ST 87.00 and for Ex. Serviceman 49.50.
