RRC Group D
Railway Recruitment Board conducts the online exam every year for Group D recruitment. RRB Group D vacancies for the posts of Track Maintainer Grade-IV, Helper/Assistant, Assistant Pointsman, Level-I posts. 12th pass or Graduate students can apply for Group D Vacancy.
The selection process for RRB Group D is based upon
- Computer Based Test (CBT),
- Physical Efficiency Test,
- Document Verification and
- Medical Test.
The CBT comprises of
- 25 questions of General Science,
- 25 questions of Mathematics,
- 30 questions of General Intelligence & Reasoning, and
- 20 questions of General Awareness.
Total marks of CBT are 100 and exam duration is 90 minutes. For each wrong answer, 1/3 marks will be deducted.
Minimum eligibility percentage of marks are given as follow:
General category - 40%,
EWS - 40%,
OBC - 30%,
SC - 30%,
ST category - 30%.
In PET, male candidates should be able to lift and carry 35 Kg of weight and female should be able to lift and carry 20 kg of weight for a distance of 100 meters in 2 minutes. Only one chance is given and should be done without putting the weight down. Male candidates should be able to run for a distance of 1000 meters in 4 minutes and 15 seconds in one chance. Female candidates should be able to run 1000 meters in 5 minutes and 40 seconds.
