RPF Constable
Railway Recruitment Board conducts the exam to recruit the candidates for Railway Protection Force constable posts. Metric pass students can attend this exam.
The selection is based upon
- Computer Based Test (CBT)
- Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
- Physical Measurement Test (PMT) and
- Document Verification. T
The CBT comprises of
- 50 questions of General Awareness,
- 35 questions of Arithmetic and
- 35 questions of General Intelligence & Reasoning.
The written test consists of 120 questions and each question carry one mark. The exam duration will 90 minutes. For the wrong answer, 1/3 marks will be deducted.
The height required for General category male is 165 cm and the chest is 80 cm and for female 157 cm height is necessary.
For SC/ ST male 160 cm height and 76.2 cm chest is necessary and for female 152 cm height is required.
In PET male contenders have to complete the 1600 meter race in 5 min 45 sec and female have to complete 800-meter race in 3 min 40 sec in only one chance. Male contenders have to do 14 feet long jump and 4 feet high jump in 03 chances. Female have to complete 09 feet long jump and 03 feet high jump.
The subject wise previous year cut off was 68.
