Life Insurance Corporation of India conducts the exam every year to recruit the candidates for Assistant Administrative Officer. The contenders who have completed their Bachelor and Master degree can apply for these posts.

The LIC AAO recruitment process conducts in three phases

• Prelims
• Mains
• Personal Interview.

The Prelims exam:-  there will 35 questions of Reasoning Ability, 35 questions of Quantitative Aptitude and 30 questions of English Language. Each question carries one mark. Total marks are 75. The English Language section is just qualifying in nature. For each section, the time duration is 20 minutes.

In mains exam Reasoning, General Knowledge and Current Affairs section will common. Remaining three sections are as per job posts.

For Generalist post-Data Analysis & Interpretation, Insurance & Financial Market Awareness and English Language section will there.

For IT/ Chartered Accountant/ Actuarial and Rajbhasha posts, there will Professional Knowledge, Insurance & Financial Market Awareness and Computer Knowledge section.

The total numbers of questions in mains exam will 120 and total marks will 300. Exam duration is 120 minutes. For each wrong answer, 0.25 marks will be deducted.

The contenders who clear the Mains exam will call for the Interview process. The Interview is conducted for 30 marks.
