Syllabus - SSC JE Electrical

Staff Selection Commission is going to organize an exam for the post of Junior Engineer Electrical soon. Now, Candidates are searching for study material for exam preparation. Here we have discussed all the essential aspects that help you to gain good marks in the examination. Also, Candidates can check the exam pattern to understand the total subject, the total question in the exam, time duration, and weightage of a specific topic.  

The examination is divided into two parts: the paper I &II. Paper 1 will be divided into three sections namely, General Intelligence and Reasoning, General Awareness and General Engineering Electrical. The total number of questions in the paper I are 100 and maximum marks will be 200. There is 0.25 negative marking for each wrong answer in paper I. The mode of examination will be online. Paper-II is a conventional type of paper which is to be held in offline mode. It comprises of General Engineering Electrical. Maximum marks will be 300 in paper II.

Here we are mentioning the electrical examination pattern of SSC JE. As already mentioned above that the paper is divided into 2 parts. The Paper-I is a CBT (Computer Based Test) and the Paper-II (Conventional Type).
