Kendriya Vidyalayas are a system of central government schools in India that are instituted under the aegis of the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD) with the primary objective to provide good quality modern education (From CBSE Board) to the children of the Indian Defence Services personnel who are often posted to remote locations. The Kendriya Vidyalayas are intended to ensure that the children of government employees do not face education disadvantages when their parents are transferred from one location to another.

Eligibility

The Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, which means 'Central School Organization', oversees the functioning of the schools with its headquarters in New Delhi. However, the minimum qualification required for any of the posts is 10th/ 12th/ Diploma/ Bachelor’s degree in the concerned discipline.
