Indian Post Postman Mail Guard
Indian Post Postman and Mail Guard exam is conducted by the Office of Chief Postmaster General, Department of Posts. The examination is a national pen paper-based entrance exam. Metric pass students can attend Postman Mail Guard exam.
The selection process is based on the written test. The exam will be written objective type.
The paper would consist of four sections
- General Knowledge( 25 questions and 25 marks)
- Mathematics( 25 questions and 25 marks)
- English( 25 questions and 25 marks)
- Regional Language( 25 questions and 25 marks)
That means question paper will of 100 marks. The examination will be conducted for 120 minutes. There is no negative marking for the wrong answer. The standard of question paper for Postman Mail Guard exam would be of matriculation level.
Qualifying marks for unreserved category candidates 10 marks in each part and 40 % in aggregate. For OBC category 09 marks in each part and 37 % in aggregate and for SC/ ST category 08 marks in each part and 33 % in aggregate.
