The selection process is based on the following series.
- Written Test
- Physical Standard Test
- Physical Efficiency Test
- Interview.

Physical Measurement Test will be taken for those candidates who qualify the Physical Endurance Test. Those contenders who qualify the race will be eligible to appear in High Jump and Long Jump.
