Chandigarh Police Constable

Chandigarh Police Recruitment Board conducts the exam every year to recruit the contenders for constable posts. The contenders who have completed their 12th class can attend this exam.

The selection is a 4 step process as follows:-

1. Physical Measurement Test (PMT)
2. Physical Endurance Test (PET)
3. Written Test
4. Document Verification.

Chest:	84-88 cm	NA
Race:	1600 meter in 375 sec	800-meter in 255 sec
Long jump;	3.95 m	2.74 m
High jump:	1.14 m	0.90 m

The PET will different in distance as per age group.

The contenders who fulfil the PMT and PET will eligible for the written test.

Written Test:-

Total no. of questions:	50-General Awareness, 35-Reasoning & 15-Numerical   Ability.
Time duration:	01 hours and 45 minutes
Total marks	100
Negative marking:	0.25 marks for each and every wrong answer
Paper language:	Bilingual in Hindi & English.
